Who We Are as NOBM

New Orleans Baptist Ministries (NOBM) is a compassion-driven nonprofit working  alongside the New Orleans Baptist Association (NOBA) to meet both the spiritual and  physical needs of our communities. We serve six parishes—Orleans, Jefferson, St.  Bernard, Plaquemines, St. Charles, and St. John the Baptist—through a network of  partnerships, programs, and compassion initiatives.

Key Partnerships

  • North American Mission Board (NAMB): National support for  evangelism, church planting, and compassion ministry
  • Louisiana Baptist Convention (LBC): Statewide collaboration for  missions and ministry
  • New Orleans Baptist Association (NOBA): Regional coordination  across 130+ churches
  • Baptist Community Health Services (BCHS): Integrated medical  and behavioral health support
  • Baptist Community Ministries (BCM): a philanthropic organization  serving the Greater New Orleans area

Our Legacy and Impact

NOBM was founded in 2003 to steward four historic Baptist mission  centers. In 2011, it was entrusted to NOBA with the charge of launching a  compassion movement centered on the creation of Baptist Community  Health Services (BCHS), a Federally Qualified Health Center. Today BCHS  operates six locations across three parishes, serving over 20,000 patients  with more than 160,000 visits over the past decade.
